
Dr. Jasper Erwin Tolarba, EdD, DNP, MSN, M.Ed., RN, CGNC, CNE, FACHE, FESNO, FFNMRCSI, FAAN
About Dr. Tolarba
Dr. Jasper Erwin Tolarba is a US Fulbright Research Scholar 2019-2020 at the Kingdom of Jordan. He received his Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut where he concentrated in Systems Policy, Management, and Executive Leadership. He also earned a second doctorate from Columbia University Teachers College with a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Nursing Education degree. He holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as a Master of Arts in Education from Bicol University in the Philippines, where he also earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Dr. Tolarba is a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Fellow of the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FFNMRCSI), Fellow of the European Specialist Nurses Organization (FESNO), Certified Nurse Educator (CNE), and Certified Global Nurse Consultant in Nursing Education (CGNC). He is currently Sigma Theta Tau’s official liaison to the United Nations (2024-2027 representing over 100,000 nurses from 160 chapters globally. 🇺🇳 He is the Founding President of the Society of Internationally Educated Nurses in North America (SIENNA) from 2024-2025.
